2022 Workbond - This is a $200.00 refundable deposit that will be returned by request at the end of the season pending the return of the uniforms and equipment, plus successful completion of all assigned volunteer support activities and participation in the mandatory calendar raffle fundraiser mentioned below.

2022 Fundraisers - The Hillsborough Dukes require each family to participate in our annual fundraiser. This fundraiser is a calendar raffle to be sold by each family. This helps to cover our yearly operational costs. 

2022 Uniforms & Equipment - For football the Dukes provide the helmet, jersey, pants, and pads - player must provide their own shoes, socks, sports girdle, cup and mouth-guard.  For cheer, the Dukes provide the cheer tops, and skirts.

2022 Physical Fitness and Medical History Form.

2022 Participant contract and Parental Consent Form.

STEP 3 - BRING YOUR COMPLETED FORMS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO DUKES REGISTRATION EVENTS, SUMMER WORK OUTS OR OTHER ADVERTISE PAPERWORK COLLECTION DATES PRIOR TO AUGUST 1ST.

2022 Pop Warner Medical Consent Form (Section 2) must be filled in completely and SIGNED by your child's DOCTOR.  Because of insurance liability issues, NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE OR PLAY ON THE FIELD OR CHEER MATS WITHOUT A COMPLETED MEDICAL CONSENT FORM on file with the organization.  We must have this form on file prior to the first day of practice.

An original copy of your child's birth certificate. For ALL players & cheerleaders.  An original certificate must be authenticated at book certification and then will be returned.

photocopy of your child's birth certificate. A photocopy of the birth certificate needs to be placed on file with the Dukes for administrative purposes.  This copy is extremely important if your child's team makes it to post-season competition in terms of eligibility.

A two (2) photocopies of your child's 2021-2022 report card For ALL academic grading periods during the 2021-2022 school year.  For kindergartners, proof of satisfactory participation.  This copy is also extremely important if your child's team makes it to post-season competition.

 

2022 Organization Policies

You will be required to review and acknowledge each policy during the registration process. 

Work bond Terms and Conditions (aka Work bond Policy):

A work bond is required for every family registered for the upcoming season.  This includes new families, families who received their work bond refund, families that did not fulfill their prior year’s requirements, and families who opted for the Work Bond Buy Out for the prior season.  Please review the options as you must choose from below:

A $200 refundable work bond

Receive a refund if the following requirements are met-

  • completion of required volunteer hours,
  • return of all player and/or coaches’ uniforms/equipment,
  • completion of the organization’s required raffle.

Failure to complete all requirements will lead to the surrender of your work bond fee. 

Work bond refund requests can be made by submitting the refund request form to the treasurer via email at treasurer@hillsboroughdukes.com.  Refunds must be requested prior to 1st day of practice for the next new season (08/01/22) or rolled over to the 2022 season when registering your child(ren). If a refund request is not made by 8/1/22, you forfeit the right to submit a request. 

Opt in or Out of Volunteer work

A work bond fee is required for all athletes. Coaches, volunteers and board members must pay the work bond fee of $200 upon athlete registration. However, you may opt out of volunteer hours during the registration process and forfeit the $200 work bond fee. Equipment/uniform return and raffle participation is still required. 

Mandatory Raffle Fundraiser

The Dukes are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and are dependent upon our fundraising activities. Dukes have one mandatory fundraising activity for the each season. The annual calendar raffle requires our families to sell a minimum of 20 raffle tickets at a total value of $200. 

All families, to include all members of any coaching staff and board members, are required to sell the minimum of 20 raffle tickets.

You have the option of paying for your raffle tickets in advance during the registration process, during raffle distribution in August, or when sold tickets are returned to the Vice President. All raffle ticket money is due by AUGUST 26, 2022. 

Your child will not receive their game day uniform until all raffle ticket money is turned in. 

2022 Season

Practice begins on Monday, August 1, 2022.
All outstanding paperwork and payments must be submitted prior to your child receiving equipment and/or practice uniforms.
