President
 
Bill Hayes, Lisa Negvesky 
  • Chief Executive Officer and highest ranking officer of the organization. All other officers in the organization report to the President.
  • Preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and General Membership.
  • Shall be exempt from voting except on the election of officers, candidates for membership, or in the case of an equally divided vote.
  • Appoint all committee chairs, and be an ex-officio member of all committees except the Nominating Committee.
  • Appoint all non-standing members of the Budget Committee and its Chair.
  • Appoint, with the approval by a majority of the Board of Directors, special members to the Board as may be deemed necessary.
  • Call special meetings of the General Membership, Executive Board, or Board of Directors with 24 hours prior notice as may be necessary
  • Direct and/or delegate powers and duties to Board Members as needed to insure the goals and needs of the Dukes are met.
  • Assist the Head Commissioner and Cheer Commissioner in appointing Team Commissioners.
  • Recommend to the Board of Directors any budgeted contribution to the Long-Range Fund.
  • Attends Monthly Conference meetings.
  • Ensure the continuation of Dukes legal status as an organization.
  • Countersign with the Treasurer all checks.
 
Vice President
 
Corey McCarthy, Stephanie Karsay
  • Assume oversight responsibility of all revenue-generating functions, including but not limited to concessions, front gate, 50/50 lottery, promotional sales.
  • Shall be a standing member of the Budget Committee.
  • Direct and/or delegate powers for fund raising efforts. Will coordinate the Calendar Raffle fund raiser.
  • Coordinates onsite Home Game Day operations.
  • May countersign checks in the absence of either the President or Treasurer if one of them can’t be made available for signature.
  • Oversee the Dukes sponsorship program and committee as necessary.
  • Maintains Work Bond position postings and fulfillment records with Corresponding Secretary.
  • Assist Treasurer with preparing monthly budget report to be presented to the Board of Directors reviewing the financial position of the organization. 
  • Assist in the collection and maintenance of all data on expenses and income for the organization.  
  • Assist in the submission of accounting records to Audit committee when called upon to do so.
  • Review the prepared annual operating budget, prior to being presented at the March General Meeting. 
  • Prepare all tax documents.
 
Treasurer
 
Megan Gutschmidt
  •  Receive and deposit all monies received by the organization into the organization’s banking accounts. 
  • Pay all bills accompanied by appropriate documentation when duly authorized within the approved budget.
  • Report in writing, on a monthly basis, to the Board of Directors, the financial position of the organization. 
  • Collect and maintain all data on expenses and income for the organization.  
  • Submit accounting records to Audit committee when called upon to do so.
  • Prepare annual operating budget, to be presented at the March General Meeting. 
  • Participate as a permanent member of the Budget Committee.
  •  Prepares all tax documents.
  • Assist with financial activities between the Dukes and external businesses (i.e. sponsors, companies making donations, service-providers, etc.)​

Corresponding Secretary
 
Jenn Glazewski
  • Assist with communications between the organization, the General Membership and the public.
  • Manage all communications of the organization at large, including but not limited to communications emails and Facebook listings.
  • Oversee all marketing, public relations, and online efforts of the organization.
 
Football Commissioner
 
Frank Cocuzza
  • Coordinate all activities of football play at home games; must be in attendance at all games to coordinate procedures with the opposing teams to ensure a smoothly-run game day.   
  • Schedule and communicate any/all pre-season scrimmages.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and any conference of which the organization is a member.
  • Serve as team representative and handle all communications with head coaches.  
  • Ensure participants are properly rostered according to PW regulations.
  • With President and Cheer Commissioner, appoint team managers.  Facilitate and participate in the football coach selection process, ensuring all coaches are certified in accordance with PW regulations.
  • With Cheer Commissioner, team commissioners and head coaches, develop and enforce a consistent discipline policy for both football and cheerleading teams.
  • Actively participate in recruiting.
 
Cheer Commissioner
 
 Danielle Scott
  • Coordinate all activities of cheerleading at home games; must be in attendance at all games to coordinate procedures to ensure a smoothly-run game day.   
  • Schedule and communicate any/all pre-season practices, on-site and off-site.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and any conference of which the organization is a member.
  • Serve as team representative and handle all communications with head coaches.  
  • Ensure participants are properly rostered according to PW regulations.
  • With President and Football Commissioner, appoint team commissioners.  Facilitate and participate in the cheer coach selection process, ensuring all coaches are certified in accordance with PW regulations.
  • With Football Commissioner, team commissioners and head coaches, develop and enforce a consistent discipline policy for both football and cheerleading teams.
  • Shall secure the meeting space for the General Membership meetings for the calendar year, assist in securing the practice fields for the season, home game fields for the season, and police and rescue squad for home games.
  • Actively participate in recruiting.
 
Recording Secretary 
 
Derek Garrard
  • Shall keep attendance of all members at General and Special Meetings.
  • Accurately record minutes of the proceedings of all General and Special Meetings, and to file copies of all documents relating to the business of the organization including Pop Warner dues, insurance policies, tax filings, service contracts and any other material agreements or contracts involving the organization.
  • Shall provide assistance to the Head Commissioner and Head Cheer Commissioner as needed to secure the following: General Meeting place(s) for the year, practice fields for the season, home game fields for the season, police and rescue squad for home games.
 
Equipment Manager
 
Jay Glazewski
 
  • Organize and inventory our existing equipment and coordinate through our rosters the need to order new equipment.
  • The equipment manager and its volunteers will organize and schedule the distribution of equipment and the collection of equipment at seasons end.
  • The equipment Manager will communicate closely with the Head Commissioners, Head Coaches and Team Commissioners throughout the season addressing any of their needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintains building and grounds.
  • Provides game day equipment support.
