It's time to get
FIRED UP!
The Dukes will be having their 2010 Annual Spirit Bonfire on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 on the field at the Hillsborough Elementary School. We will be taking this time to acknowledge the recent accomplishments of our kids, both on the field and in the classroom, as well as get them fired up for continuing success for the rest of the year. This event is open to all family, relatives, and friends of the Dukes. So c'mon, show your kids you've got the Dukes' Spirit and get
fired up!

GAME NOTES:
We will be hosting an out-of-conference opponent in the Elizabeth Packers. This is to accommodate scheduling issues regarding the Jr. Midget divisions
between the Mountain Valley Conference and the North Jersey Pop Warner Conference. Please give them a courteous welcome to Dukes country.
We will also be hosting a Midget football game between the Hunterdon Huskies and the DelVal Dawgs as a courtesy to the Hunterdon Huskies
to accommodate their families and alleviate travel issues for their organization.
The Hillsborough Dukes Football and Cheerleading program is a non-profit organization that is run 100% by volunteers working toward the greater good of our community and the benefit of our youth.

The Hillsborough Dukes is a completely volunteer run organization and without volunteers like you, this organization cannot operate efficiently. Therefore we need everyone’s help to identify candidates for these positions to keep the Pop Warner program in Hillsborough alive and well for our kids. The time to get involved is now!

There is
no smoking allowed on the school grounds. There is a zero-tolerance rule in effect for HES and HHS. Also,
no pets are allowed on school grounds. We are obligated to uphold the HES and HHS rules regarding their properties.

Do not block the gravel driveway to the barn. Do not park immediately alongside the school building on any side of the school, especially near the playground area. These emergency access and exits cannot be blocked. Please do not drive behind HES to pick-up/drop-off your children, this area is reserved for faculty only. Also, please do not park in the bank parking lot near the playground area on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings - you risk a ticket and/or having your car towed. |

Hillsborough Jr. Midget Cheer Squad Wins Pop Warner National Title
On December 9th, 2009, the Hillsborough Dukes Jr. Midget Cheer squad achieved what was just a goal, perhaps more a dream just 4 months ago by winning the Pop Warner Jr. Midget Cheer Large-Novice National Championship Title for 2009 at the Pop Warner National Championships at the Walt Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. |

Pop Warner 2008-2009 All-American Scholars Announced
Congratulations to all the 2008-2009 Pop Warner All-American Scholars. This year Pop Warner announced that a record number of All-American Scholar applications were submitted - over 8,100 in total. Out of that, 33 Hillsborough Dukes were selected for national recognition! |
